God’s love, mercy and grace towards and over us has nothing to do with us. Nothing we can do could ever earn it. Nothing we can say could ever bring it. It’s not because of who we are that God bestows it upon us. God gives it freely and unconditionally to those who believe. (Romans…

Forgetting God?
Have we forgotten God? Have you forgotten God? As a society, as a nation, as people are we forgetting God? Everyday we make choices and decisions. We either follow God or ignore Him. God is always there. He is always nudging us, prompting us, convicting us, gently guiding us. Through His Spirit, through our conscious, God speaks. (Romans…
Worry?
We all worry at times. We worry about our families, our health, our finances, our future, our circumstances and things that are completely outside our control. Sometimes we know we should trust God, but our minds keep going back to the problem. Sometimes we get consumed with our worries and our thoughts rage inside our…
Recognize God in Our Everyday Life
Have you ever stopped to think about how much God is doing in your everyday life? Do you recognize God as you go through your daily life? We often look for God in the big things. We look for the answered prayer, the miracle, the major change, or the moment when everything suddenly falls into place. But…
Important??…It’s a matter of the Heart
What about your heart? Where is your focus? Is it on God or the World? When you make decisions do you make them for God or for yourself? Are you focused on heavenly or worldly things? Are you storing up treasures in Heaven or here on earth? What are your values? What is important to…
God Will Accept You
We think God can’t accept us, after what we have done or our past or the burden we carry. We may think we are too far gone. We might think we are too scarred. We think we have to gain God’s love and approval. We think God can’t forgive us for what we have done. We see…

Life (& God’s Plan)
God has good plans for us. Not harm but hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11) God uses all things in our lives, circumstances, pain, hurt, troubles – He allows them all to bring good to us – He turns what is meant for evil into good. God is not inactive or reactive but working and…
Victory: We Know the End of the Story
As Christians, as believers, we have victory in God. We already know the end. God has told us He will win over all the sin and evil in this world. He already has won. He defeated death, sins hold on humanity and the devil, when He died and rose again. He told what would happen…
The Created Order
God created the world and therefore created an order for it to run and be held together. If the order is disrupted or changed it will have dramatic effects on God’s created order. It will fall apart. Separation from God brings disaster. The Beginning Goodness In the beginning God created the world and everything in…
Upside Down Kingdom
The kingdom of God is not at all like the world. God’s kingdom is the opposite of the world. The priorities, thoughts, ways, views, patterns, beliefs and characteristics are completely different. God created the world in harmony with His kingdom. Sin took that away. But as God’s children we are to live and think differently.…

When we gave our lives to Christ, He gave us His Holy Spirit. He lives in us and through Him we have power and strength to overcome sin and the world. The Holy Spirit is promised to all who believe in Christ. It is our guarantee that we are in Him and have eternal life.…
