God’s love, mercy and grace towards and over us has nothing to do with us. Nothing we can do could ever earn it. Nothing we can say could ever bring it. It’s not because of who we are that God bestows it upon us. God gives it freely and unconditionally to those who believe. (Romans…

God Will Accept You
We think God can’t accept us, after what we have done or our past or the burden we carry. We may think we are too far gone. We might think we are too scarred. We think we have to gain God’s love and approval. We think God can’t forgive us for what we have done. We see…
Christ Lived Life Too
God came as a human, just like us, yet he was fully God and fully human. Jesus experienced life in this world just like us. He grew up, He had siblings, He learned a trade, He attended synagogue, He participated in the traditions of His people and faith. (John 1:14, Romans 9:5) He also knew fear,…

Faith, Hope, Love: Part 3 Love
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love. Love. It covers sin. It drives out fear. It accepts. Never gives up. Doesn’t keep a record of wrong. It does no harm or wrong to anyone. It fulfills the law of God. It’s patient and…

Live Like You’re Forgiven (Living in God’s Undeserved Grace)
God set in motion His plan of salvation from the beginning. When we accept Him as our savior and begin life with Him, He covers us in His undeserved grace. We are forgiven and washed clean. We are made new. The old ways, our old self are gone and we become a new person. 2…
God’s Goodness: Hope for Now & the Future
God’s faithfulness and goodness goes on forever. He does not change. We can trust Him through everything. Faith, Hope and Love remain in the end. The greatest is love. God’s Goodness: Refinement
God uses events in our lives and every day experiences to refine us into His likeness. He chisels away at us only to make us better. It may feel painful, it may be hard to take, it may make us question, but in the end if we let God we will be closer to Him and…
